The best protein is pure protein, which is why we deliver products from Beeler’s Pure Pork. A German immigrant, Fred Beeler started farming in Madison County, Iowa, in 1846. Sixth-generation farmers Tim and Dennis Beeler now maintain the legacy Fred had begun. To produce premium pork, the Beelers work with one other farm in raising Danish Duroc pigs that are fed vegetarian diets with no animal by-products, antibiotics, growth promotants or ractopamine (Paylean). The pigs are free of gestation crates and so able to move freely and socialize in large, deep-bedded pens. The pigs also have outdoor access. Seasoned with gluten-free spices, Beeler’s pure pork is available as whole animals, primals and retail/portion cuts.
