Black Earth Meats- Black Earth, WI - A classic meat locker, with on-site slaughter available for beef, pork, sheep and goats.  They are a USDA facility with third-party certification for humane handling (Animal Welfare Approved) and are certified organic (Iowa Department of Agriculture).  They aggregate from a number of small, sustainable farmers to provide a consistent supply of quality animals.

Kilgus Farmstead - Fairbury, IL - The Kilgus family raises a herd of all Jersey cows on their farm just 100 miles south of Chicago.  All of their milk is bottled on their dairy farm.  Cows are raised on pasture and not given any growth hormones.  The milk is not homogenized, so you get that old fashioned cream line.

Organic Valley - LaFarge, WI - Organic Valley began in 1988 with a group of Wisconsin farmers who shared a love of the land and a belief that a new, sustainable approach to agriculture was needed in order for family farms and rural communities to survive. The farmers formed CROPP Cooperative which today is the largest organic farming cooperative in North America. In addition to providing farmers a way to stay in business, organic agriculture fulfilled their vision for a sustainable agriculture: farming without antibiotics or synthetic hormones and pesticides, pasturing animals, and ensuring the land would be preserved for future generations.

Sunshine Farm - Kewaunee, WI - Sunshine Farms is the only Wisconsin source of Grade A bottled goat milk direct from one farm. Sunshine Farms bottled goat's milk is whole milk, not homogenized, and is available year-round.  A new product is low fat milk bottled in quarts.
Cedar Grove Cheese - Plain, WI -  They make the best traditional and specialty cheese you've ever tasted - without artificial growth hormones (rBGH), animal enzymes, or genetically modified ingredients (GMOs).  Cedar Grove buys milk from over 30 Wisconsin farmers, all of whom have pledged not to treat their cows with synthetic growth hormones and some of whom are certified organic.
Milo's Organic Poultry Farm - Bonduel, WI - At Milo's Poultry Farm, chickens roam on their organic farm in Northeast Wisconsin. The chickens are of different varieties which explains the variety of colors that you may see when you open a carton of their eggs. All of the hens are fed the same, so the color of the shell has nothing to do with the quality inside. The quality, size, inside color and taste of the egg will vary with the seasons, the weather, the personality and age of the chickens.  Whenever the garden and flower beds are not in production, they have a run of the farm; otherwise Milo rotates them between different pens to keep them picking through the fresh grass.
